For 35 years, Jack DeVetten and his team of skilled apprentices and journeymen have been providing homeowners and businesses with excellent services in plumbing, heating and drainage maintenance.
Jack himself is a plumbing journeyman who carries on a family tradition of service excellence: Jack’s father was a journeyman plumber and pipefitter. Under his dad’s experienced eye, Jack completed his apprenticeship training, achieving his Journeyman’s Certificate in 1989 and his Master Plumbing Certificate in 1995.
During Jack’s apprenticeship, he worked on several major industrial, commercial and residential projects, perhaps none so infamous as the freezing lines of Canada Olympic Park’s bobsleigh and luge runs. Additionally, plumbing services at the Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant, the Sheerness Electrical Generating Plant and the Lethbridge Regional Hospital have all been provided by Jack’s fine attention to detail. And, he’s worked in new residential construction on homes all over Calgary – experience that really helps when it comes to trouble shooting problems in older homes.
As co-owner of Ace Plumbing, together with his wife of 24 years, Margaret DeVetten, Jack has inspired a generation of plumbing and heating excellence, hiring technicians with clean background checks and courteous attitudes.
